Been rocking this Seiko SRPK17 (reissue) for a week now...so nice to have essentially a vintage watch you don't have to worry about especially in hot humid weather.

Not sure this qualifies as pottery...Im making water ripple looking tiles using a plaster mold, then drying on dry wall...they come out pretty darn flat!

I think this 2021 34mm Marlin is one of the best vintage homage watches of the past 10 years including high end luxury watches. To me it's mostly that it's true to size, but also everything else is spot on. Its the only 34mm re-release I've encountered. Also love the California dial on this version

Got this fun Zodiac Dr. Pepper dial for a steal recently and wonder whether I need to service it. The seller didn't know whether it was recently serviced but the movement looks and runs great. Is the best rule of thumb to just service a vintage watch? Any advice?

[1937 Bulova minute man] I just can't get over the salmon/gold art deco dial. I believe the cartier tank Americain is based on it.

Is it just me or were Timex digitals especially the Ironman way cooler than casios back in the 80s/90s? They were in my town at least. I still think they were just better, functionally/ergonomically, better build quality. If I post this on r/Casio I'm sure I'd be downvoted into oblivion.
