Name options for second child (UK)
Im due to give birth in August and although we don't know the gender yet, we've started having the name discussion.
We currently have a daughter who has an honour name for her great grandmother- a little bit out there but not unheard of (think Morgana, Guinevere, Minerva- a name like that).
If she had been a boy she would have been Theodore nn Teddy however, I've gone cold on the name as in my daughter's baby classes there was multiple Theo/Theodore/ Teddy variants and I'm really put off by the idea of my child being 'the other Theodore' or needing another nickname to differentiate themselves.
My husband and I are both vibing with 'timeless Roman' names rn.
For a boy the toss up is now Alexander versus Felix? Both the top 100s names but not top 10.
For a girl we like Alexandria or Cora?
Does it clash having a slightly more 'normal' second child name where the first child's name is a bit more out there?
Does anyone have any opinions that we may have overlooked with these choices? (Particularly from a British perspective as we know this sub is usually American focused?)
